Continental Divide Charity Bicycle Ride-Day 11. 86 miles. 4400ft of climbing. Pinedale to Atlantic C
Boy, everything today went well. We had strong tailwind for most of the day. We crossed the continental divide once again. We got to ride on the crest of the divide for quite a while looking on to both sides of the divide. As with most of the divide route, the majority of the riding was on dirt roads. Unlike the day before
Early in the day we saw some Wyoming cowbays herding cattle. It was like something out of a movie.
We traveled past South Pass City. An old gold mining village. The mine was closed a while back and is now an empty tourist attraction.
